Winning smiles…touching hearts

RAYAGADA:Long before corporate social responsibility found a place in the corporate lexicon, it was already textured into the Group's value system. As early as the 1940s, the late Mr. G.D. Birla espoused the trusteeship concept of management — .Where wealth generated from the business is held in trust and ploughed back for the benrfit and upliftment of the local community.

Carrying forward this philosophy, UAIL legendary leader the late Aditya Vikram Birla weaved in the concept of sustainable livelihood. Taking these practices forward UAIL Chairman Mr Kumar Mangalam Birla institutionalized the concept of the triple bottom line where success is measured based on the fulfillment of economic environmental and social  responsibility.
