PURI/ROURKELA: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Government of Odisha declared the CHSE Orissa +2 Annual Exams Result 2011 at 10:20 am on Monday.
The pass percentage in Science is 73. 48, in Arts is 68.36 and Commerce is 68.33.respectively.
Surprisingly Mr.Ramesh Chandra Majhi, Minister for IT, Science and Technology, Odisha who had appeared the +2 exams in Arts stream secured first class.
The minister had failed to clear the exam in his first attempt in 1995, when he was studying +2 (Science) at the Biju Patnaik College in Bhubaneswar.
Rourkela Municipal College has brought glory in CHSE Exam
Educational capital of Orissa Rourkela has done good in CHSE exam published today. Muncipal College a premier educational organization has excelled in commerce discipline when three of its students ranked among top-20 list. Bikash Jain stood 4th in the list with 526(88%) marks,Neha Goel ranked 10th with 515(86%) marks and Subhashree Priyadarshini ranked 18th with 506 marks(84%). The Principal and the college staffs had celebrated this success with the successful students and wished to continue better performance in future. Muncipal College is the only college in Rourkela which has been doing very good in commerce discipline and has produced many good scholars ranked in top 20 every year. There is none in other discipline like Arts and Science to rank in top-20 from Sundergarh district. The pass percentage in Science ,Commerce and Arts have been 73.48%,68.33% and 68.36% respectively as pronounced by the Minister of Education, Orissa. In Rourkela results in all discipline have been good and students are seen celebrating their success with sweets in the midst of their parents and friends and in some places students had played with colors a sign of prosperity and cheerfulness.
