BRAMHAPUR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Odisha discussed with the Collectors of the affected Districts over the unseasonal rain through Video conferencing. The Chief Minister directed the Collectors to see that the actual farmers get the assistance and the distribution of input subsidy and the assistance to be completed by the 30th June .The Chief Minister Stress on distribution of assistance before Khariff.

But in Chief Minister  constituency which called as main pin point district of Odisha  (Ganjam District)  the Dy.Director Agriculture (DDA) making regular up and Down by local DMU from Bramhapur to Bhubaneswar and Executive Engineer also making Up and Down Bramhapur to Rayagada because the family residing over there but Rayagada comes under his official limits. This correspondent made nearly 10/15 times visit to gather information for Khariff project but both of them are never available before noon (?).While contacted to the Executive engineer over mobile who earlier caught by Vigilance, Koraput he reacted and said, “I have my strong lobby at Naveen Niwas”(?) So I don’t care any media (?)

 This matter also apprised telephonically to the News Collector Dr.Krishan Kumar by Orissabarta. For such negligence many people of city sought this issue on RTI Act. But unfortunately though the date is already overdue to provide the data still the concern Executive engineer(Agril) remain silent(?)

In video conferencing Naveen Pattnaik advised to see that the actual farmer gets the assistance and involve the public representatives.

In course of the video conferencing, the Collectors expressed the problems arising during the time of distribution of the assistance.

The Chief Minister directed the concerned departmental higher officers to solve the problems immediately. It is to be mentioned here that the distribution of assistance is going on in 23 districts. The Collectors have been advised to complete the works by the fixed date by distributing at least one crore in a day. During the current year the state government has arranged Input subsidy and draught and unseasonal rain affected assistance of Rs 700 crore.
